      Ways to use this list

      • End the "I don't know, what do you want?" loop: each person names one food they really don't fancy, delete those slices, and spin whatever is left.
      • Match the craving first: tap Comfort food, Something spicy or Light and fresh, so every slice is something you already half want.
      • Local version: clear the list, type the five or six cafรฉs and takeaways within walking distance, then press ๐Ÿ’พ Save and call it "Our places".
      • A vegetarian at the table: tap Vegetarian, and whatever wins, everybody can order the same dish or share one big plate.
      • Nudge the odds on a cold night: write Soup and bread *3 or Ramen *3 and that slice becomes three times as wide.

Press Spin the wheel, tap the game or press the Space bar. Change the list in the box as you like: add your own, delete what doesn't suit you, or write *2 after an entry to give it double the chance. The game buttons switch the same list to a duck race, hat, claw machine and more.

      Questions people ask

Can I put my own restaurants on the food wheel?

Yes. Clear the box and type the places near you, one per line; your edits are remembered on this device. For a place with a long menu, add its best dish, such as "Corner cafรฉ: soup", so the spin decides the meal too.

What if I don't like the answer?

Spin again, or press Remove & pick again to take that food off the wheel. Sometimes your reaction to the first spin tells you what you really wanted.

Is there a wheel for home-cooked dinners?

Yes: the dinner ideas wheel has easy meals to cook at home, from fried rice and omelettes to shepherd's pie, plus a leftovers night to clear the fridge.

How do I decide what to eat when nothing sounds good?

Answer three quick questions first: hot or cold, light or filling, and how long you can wait. That usually rules out half the wheel. Tap the quick list that fits, spin, and give the answer a fair chance before you spin again.

Which foods on the wheel are vegetarian?

Tap Vegetarian for falafel, dal, masala dosa, paneer tikka, shakshuka, mac and cheese and more. Some dishes that look meat-free often are not: pad thai is usually made with fish sauce, and ramen and pho broths are commonly made from meat or bones, so ask when you order.

      What is bibimbap?

A Korean rice bowl topped with rows of seasoned vegetables, often some beef and a fried egg, and served with gochujang, a spicy red chilli paste. The name means "mixed rice": you stir everything together just before eating.
