      How to draw raffle winners

      1. Add the entries. One name per line, Name *3 for someone with three tickets, or use Ticket numbers to fill the draw with, say, tickets 1 to 500.
      2. Set the prizes: in Settings choose the number of winners and any alternates.
      3. Draw! The balls mix in the machine and the winners roll out one after another.
      4. Keep the record: the result shows the winners, the alternates and a draw record to screenshot. The history can be downloaded as a CSV file.

      Built for real prize draws

      • Back-up winners: alternates are drawn in order, so a prize never sits unclaimed.
      • Fair extra entries: five tickets really means five times the chance.
      • Proof: the draw record shows the time, the number of entries and a list code that changes if even one entry changes.
      • Big draws: up to 10,000 entries (the ball machine shows up to 60 balls; larger draws use Quick pick automatically).

      Questions people ask

      How do I run an online raffle draw?

      Add every entry to the list (one name per line), or fill it with ticket numbers using Ticket numbers. Choose how many winners and back-ups you need in Settings, then press Draw a ball. The winners appear in order with a draw record you can screenshot.

      Is this raffle generator fair?

      Yes. The winners are drawn with your browser's secure random number generator before the animation starts, and each entry has the same chance unless you gave someone extra tickets. Nobody can win twice in the same draw.

      Can someone have more than one ticket?

      Yes. Write the number of tickets after the name with a star, like Maria *5, and Maria gets five chances. Or use ticket numbers and add each number once.

      What are alternates?

      Back-up winners. Set Alternates in Settings and the extra names are drawn after the winners, in order, so if a winner can't be reached or doesn't claim the prize you already know who is next.

      Can I prove the draw was fair?

      Every raffle draw shows a draw record: the date and time, the number of entries and a short list code. The code is made from your exact list, so anyone with the same list gets the same code. Take a screenshot or a screen recording, and download the history as a CSV file.

      Can I use it for a social media giveaway?

      Yes: paste the names of everyone who entered (for example from the comments) and draw. Follow the platform's rules for giveaways, and check the rules for raffles where you live; we don't sell tickets, collect entries or handle money or prizes.

      Which game is best for a raffle?

      The lottery ball machine feels most like a classic draw, the wheel works well as a raffle wheel, and the duck race is great for charity events. All of them use the same fair pick.
