🖼️ Photos

Add pictures of people, pets or things. Each photo takes its file's name (ava.jpg becomes "Ava") and appears in every game. Photos stay on this device and are not in share links.

Tip: start a name with an emoji, like 🍕 Pizza, for a picture without a photo.

Add this picker to a class website, blog, Google Sites or school portal: copy the code and paste it where HTML is allowed. It opens with the game you have chosen now.

How to use the slot machine picker

      1. Add your names. They are loaded onto the reel in a random order.
      2. Pull the lever: press the button, tap the machine or press the Space bar.
      3. Watch the reel slow down. The name that stops on the winning line wins.
      4. Spin again, remove the winner, or go on until everyone has had a turn.

      Great for big lists

Unlike a wheel, a reel never runs out of room: whether you have 5 names or 5,000, the slot machine shows them big and readable in its window, which makes it a fun choice for raffles, large classes and stream giveaways.

      Fair and fun

The flashing lights and the slow stop are just the show. The winning name is chosen before the reel moves, with your browser's secure random generator, so every name has an equal chance. No money, no bets, no sign-up. How the picking works.

      Questions people ask

How does the slot machine name picker work?

Your names go on a reel. Pull the lever (or press the button) and the reel blurs past, slows down and stops with one name on the winning line.

      Is it gambling?

No. There is no money, no betting and nothing to win from us: it's only a fun way to show a random pick. The winner is chosen fairly before the reel spins.

How many names fit on the reel?

Any number, up to the 10,000-name limit: the reel simply repeats your list.

Can I spin for several winners?

Yes. Set Winners in Settings. The reel spins once for each winner (up to five spins in a row) and lists them in order.

      Can I make it slower?

Choose Dramatic speed in Settings for a longer spin with a slow, tense stop.
