Add pictures of people, pets or things. Each photo takes its file's name (ava.jpg becomes "Ava") and appears in every game. Photos stay on this device and are not in share links.

Tip: start a name with an emoji, like ๐Ÿ• Pizza, for a picture without a photo.

      Ways to use this list

      • Make it a habit: spin on Monday for Friday's date, so there is time to book, shop or check the weather, and agree that the wheel's answer stands.
      • Tight month: tap Free for picnics, sunrise and sunset walks, stargazing and letters, which cost nothing but a little time.
      • Surprise each other: each of you secretly adds three ideas to the list, then spin; whoever wrote the winner plans the evening.
      • A year and a half of dates: turn on Remove the winner and spin once a fortnight, and the 39 ideas last for about 78 weeks.
      • Babysitter booked but rain on the way? Tap Rainy night for bowling, an escape room, a museum or a fort-and-film night instead.

Press Spin the wheel, tap the game or press the Space bar. Change the list in the box as you like: add your own, delete what doesn't suit you, or write *2 after an entry to give it double the chance. The game buttons switch the same list to a duck race, hat, claw machine and more.

      Questions people ask

Can we add our own date ideas?

Yes. Edit the list, one idea per line, and press ๐Ÿ’พ Save so your wheel is ready every week. Add the places you love nearby, like a favourite cafรฉ or a walk by the river, so the wheel knows your town.

      How do we avoid repeats?

It is built in: No repeats until everyone is picked is already on, so every idea comes up once before any of them repeat. It is a good way to make sure the less obvious ideas get their turn.

      Which date ideas cost nothing?

Tap Free: a picnic, stargazing, sunset or sunrise walks, a bike ride, a photo walk, writing each other letters and planning a dream trip are all free. Save that version as your end-of-the-month wheel.

What are good date night ideas at home?

Tap At home. Favourites include cooking a dish from each other's childhood, a themed dinner with music from that country, a blanket fort film night and a jigsaw with a playlist. Put phones in another room for the evening and it feels like a proper night out.

How do we plan a stargazing date?

Pick a clear night close to a new moon, when moonlight does not wash out the fainter stars, and get as far from streetlights as you safely can. Give your eyes about 20 minutes to adjust to the dark, and use a red light, not a white one, to read a star map.

What is an ice cream crawl?

A walk between two or three ice cream shops in one evening. Share a small scoop at each, try a flavour neither of you has had before, and vote on the winner at the end. In winter it works just as well with hot chocolate.
