      Ways to use this list

      • Comic strips: each pupil spins a hero, reads the power in the list below, and draws a three-panel strip of that hero's very first rescue.
      • Dress-up day: children build a costume around a spun name. Mighty Mitten needs only a pair of gloves and a cape made from a towel.
      • Story starters: spin two heroes and write how they meet. Tick-Tock Tess and Professor Puddlejump would surely argue about being late.
      • Group work: split the class with the team generator, then each group spins a name from the Team names button.

Press Spin the wheel, tap the game or press the Space bar. Change the list in the box as you like: add your own, delete what doesn't suit you, or write *2 after an entry to give it double the chance. The game buttons switch the same list to a duck race, hat, claw machine and more.

Are these superheroes from comics or films?

No. Every name and power was made up for this page, and we dropped any idea that matched a well-known hero, so the character you build stays yours.

How do I make a superhero name based on powers?

Take a word for the power (frost, echo, gravity) and pair it with a nature word or a title: Frostbloom, Echo Wren, Gravity Gran. Need the power first? Spin the superpower generator.

What should my superhero team be called?

Press Team names. A good team name says what the group protects or when it works, like the Rooftop Watch or the Weekend Wardens.
