Ways to use this list
- Starting a campaign: each player spins a class, then the group decides why such an odd mix of people would ever travel together.
- Writing a quest: spin four classes for the heroes' party, so the cartographer, the knight, the chef and the seer each have a job to do.
- Drawing: spin a class and design the outfit and kit, from the tools on a blacksmith's belt to the pockets of a lorekeeper's coat.
- Classroom adventure: give each reading group a class name for the term, like the Rangers or the Runesmiths, and let them design a crest.
Press Spin the wheel, tap the game or press the Space bar. Change the list in the box as you
like: add your own, delete what doesn't suit you, or write *2 after an entry to give it double the
chance. The game buttons switch the same list to a duck race, hat, claw machine and more.

Questions people ask
What are the classic fantasy character classes?
The usual core is a fighter such as a knight or warrior, a sneaky rogue, a spellcaster such as a wizard, and a healer. Most fantasy parties mix these roles so every problem has someone to solve it.
What is the difference between a wizard and a sorcerer?
In many fantasy stories a wizard learns magic through years of study, while a sorcerer is born with it. Some worlds use the words the other way round, so decide what they mean in yours.
Are there unusual classes that are not fighters or mages?
Press Unusual classes for roles like cartographer, diplomat, chef and beekeeper. They suit puzzle-heavy stories and younger players who prefer clever ideas to battles.
How do I build a balanced adventuring party?
Press Party roles and spin one per player, then pick a class that fits each role. A protector, a healer, a scout and a spellcaster cover most situations.
