Ways to use this list
- Dream trip game for long car journeys: everyone spins once and has two minutes to describe the first thing they would do on arrival.
- Geography lesson: spin a place, find it on a world map or globe, then name its continent and one fact about it.
- Day out with no plan: press Near home, spin, and be out of the door within the hour. Spin again only if the place is closed.
- Group trip with friends: keep only the places you can all reach, then run a ๐ Tournament so the winner has to beat several others.
- Travel writing prompt: spin a destination and write a postcard home from it, using three things you would see or hear there.
Press Spin the wheel, tap the game or press the Space bar. Change the list in the box as you
like: add your own, delete what doesn't suit you, or write *2 after an entry to give it double the
chance. The game buttons switch the same list to a duck race, hat, claw machine and more.

Questions people ask
Can it pick a truly random place anywhere in the world?
It picks from well-loved places that are worth the trip. A truly random point on Earth would usually be useless: about 71% of the planet's surface is ocean, so most spins would land you in the middle of the sea.
How do I use it for a day out near me?
Press Near home above the picker. Instead of named destinations it spins types of place, such as a nature reserve, a bookshop or a hilltop viewpoint, so it works wherever you live. Then look up the nearest one.
Can I spin only places we can actually get to?
Yes. Clear the list and type the places that fit your time and travel, one per line, or delete the ones that don't. For more travel lists, try the vacation destination wheel or the road trip wheel.
Why are some places shown with two countries?
Some natural wonders sit on a border. Niagara Falls is shared by Canada and the USA, Iguazu Falls by Argentina and Brazil, and Victoria Falls by Zambia and Zimbabwe, so you can visit them from either side.
